Gladiatorial Combat - "Munera Sine Missione"
These are a set of rules for gladiatorial combat in the arenas of Rome, adpated and expanded from
a set by Gary Comardo.
Medieval Naval Warfare - "Away with Honour"
Inspired by the excellent medieval ship range from Outpost Wargames Services. The author has always
been fasacinated by the method of fighting land battles at sea as used in the middle ages and so
wrote these rules. They always cause a good laugh down at the club.
Very Quick English Civil War Rules - "Marston Less"
These rules were written for a participation games for Triples in 2001. The ideas was to present
a very stylised version of an ECW battle. The average game lasts 10-15 minutes.
The Tai-Ping Rebellion - "The Four Eyed Dog is dead"
The Author made a mistake. He bought a copy of Andrew Wilson's "Ever Victorious Army". An excellent
read. This inspired him to write these rules for the rebellion and to start collecting the figures.
These rules, when played have the terrible effect of causing grown men to adopt truly awful chinese
accents.
ACW Naval Battles - "A Hotter Fire.."
A simple set of ACW ironclad rules usable at 1/1200th and 1/600th.
Victorian Science Fiction - "Imperial Mars"
The Author's long time passion for science fiction generated these rules. We wanted a set of rules
for the "British on Mars" which was something larger than a skirmish and was freely expandable to
include new weapons, races and devices. Now on to Version 3.4.
World War One Naval Battles - "There's Something Wrong With
Our Bloody Ships Today"
These rules were written for the old Conquest Miniatures 1/5000 ww1 range. They are a very quick
and Dirty set and have allowed us to fight "Jutland in an evening".
World War One in Africa - "I Wish I was in France"
Written to protray the interesting and different style of warfare in East Africa during the Great
War, these rules were inspired by the Pendraken 10mm range.
Spanish Civil War - "Honour the Dead...."
These were written to make use of Peter Pig's fantastic 15mm range. The author wanted a rule set
that was not simply based on WW2 and provided the opportunity to make use of the varied unit
types as well as the "interesting" armour.
